Web hosting provider NaviSite announced on Tuesday it has named Christopher Cordom senior vice president of worldwide sales, where he will lead NaviSite’s direct and channel sales efforts.
The move comes a few months after NaviSite named industry veteran David Grimes the company’s chief technology officer.
Launching a series of cloud offerings in the past year, including includes NaviCloud Intelligent Storage, new self-service storage features, and a cloud-based desktop-as-a-service offering, NaviSite hopes to position itself as a leader in the cloud computing market.
To support this growth, Cordom will be responsible for developing NaviSite’s strategic direction to accelerate global revenue growth as well as align company resources to deliver business and technology solutions that enable customer success.
Previously, he served as the general manager for NaviSite’s Atlantic region sales team.
“Chris has been a vital part of our sales team for more than three years. His sales leadership expertise, ability to collaborate with service delivery teams and most importantly his commitment to customer satisfaction enabled the Atlantic team to consistently perform above plan as well as secure many of the largest and most strategic deals in NaviSite’s history,” said Brooks Borcherding, NaviSite president. “We look to Chris and his team to lead our efforts as NaviSite continues to deliver industry leading, scalable, secure, robust and innovative enterprise-class cloud computing services to our customers.”
Cordom has more than 25 years of sales experience in the enterprise technology market.
